Trusted Ecology
Independent ecological consultancy, set up with the aim of marrying excellent standards of ecological survey and assessment with trusted, affable customer service.
Covering sites across Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire, our work typically begins with a Preliminary Ecological Appraisal. This initial assessment allows us to identify ecological constraints and opportunities, after which we provide clear, proportionate recommendations for mitigation and ecological enhancement.
Where required, we also undertake more detailed protected species surveys, which may include the following:
Hazel Dormouse
Common Pipstrelle
Brown Long-eared Bat
Great Crested Newt
Destructive search for Bats

"We couldn’t recommend Frankie and her services enough. Our builders had to get the work done by a specific date and she rearranged everything to be there. She was so lovely to deal with throughout the process and efficient and passionate about her work. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her."
Homeowners, Petersfield
"My clients and I have engaged with Ecology Works on numerous projects. Frankie's friendly demeanour perfectly complements her professional and meticulous approach, regardless of the project's size.
Her extensive knowledge in her field is evident, and she effectively communicates what can be complex concepts and strategies to both clients and project teams with clarity. This ability is crucial in justifying and supporting developments and planning applications impacted by biodiversity, a subject she is incredibly passionate about. We have confidence in her ability to communicate and negotiate with Local and County Authority level officers for the benefit of the project and the clients' aspirations, while ultimately ensuring the protection and enhancement of biodiversity.
Frankie's commitment to sustainable development and environmental stewardship is evident in every project she undertakes. Her ability to balance the needs of her clients with the imperatives of ecological preservation makes her an invaluable partner. I highly recommend Frankie and Ecology Works for any project where environmental solutions are crucial."
